We fit bathrooms of all sizes – from small two-piece suites to complete three-piece setups. Your space determines what works best, and we make practical recommendations based on measurements and usage needs.
Our installation covers baths and showers in standard or custom configurations. Walk-in showers, wetrooms and freestanding baths require different approaches, and we handle each correctly
For flooring, we install ceramic tiles, luxury vinyl tiles (LVT), and sheet vinyl. Each has distinct advantages: ceramic for longevity, LVT for comfort, and vinyl for cost-effective waterproofing.
The plumbing work includes all pipework, waste connections and water supply. We move services when needed and can install pumps for better pressure in low-flow situations.
We handle bathroom-specific electrical requirements, including ventilation fans, lighting circuits, shaver points and heated towel rails. Everything meets current regulations and safety standards.
Shower room installations
We specialise in transforming outdated shower spaces into modern, efficient shower rooms. Unlike full bathrooms, shower rooms focus exclusively on showering functionality without compromising style or comfort.
Enclosure options include sleek frameless glass panels for contemporary spaces, traditional pivot doors for practical access, and space-saving sliding systems for tight layouts.
Proper drainage installation prevents standing water problems through correctly calculated falls on the shower floor. Water-resistant wall coverings include ceramic and porcelain tiles installed with mould-resistant grout or acrylic panels that eliminate grout lines.
When installed correctly, both options provide durable, waterproof surfaces.
Kitchen installations
Our kitchen installations include those from DIY Kitchens, Wickes, Howdens, B&Q, Wren, and smaller companies. We can advise on measurements ahead of ordering and schedule your kitchen installation for a flexible date after delivery.
Our DIY Kitchens installation service is one of the most efficient and we have an excellent reputation with B&Q directly. We have fitted kitchens for B&Q and have a discount card to help you save money on your project.
Of course, we in addition to fitting your kitchen, we can also do the second-fix lighting, all plumbing, tiling, and in some cases, the flooring.

FAQs
April Showers charges between £2,000 and £4,000 to fit the average family-sized bathroom. That includes stripping your old bathroom, making good, plumbing, electrics, tiling, fitting, and finishing.
You will need to hire a skip for the rubbish (a six or eight-yard skip will cost around £180).
Some bathrooms have rotten floorboards hidden by old flooring. We can replace solid and chipboard flooring. It could add around half a day to the project. Expect it to increase the total project cost by around £200.
We sometimes uncover leaky pipes (usually copper) that will need replacing. These could be in the walls, ceiling, or running under the floor.
Your bathroom walls around the old bath/shower might be rotten from years of water getting behind the tile. We can replace them with new cement board.
We do both. We can supply products from B&Q and other leading retailers to save you the hassle. This includes arranging delivery and waiting in for delivery, or collecting the products on your behalf. We’re flexible to suit your requirements.
We complete the vast majority of bathroom installations inside one working week. We can work weekends if necessary, although we don’t work bank holidays.
Some jobs can run into week two (for example, if you have a large bathroom over 4m).
If you have more than bathroom that needs doing, your project will take around three weeks.
